As an executive chef, you will have the opportunity to oversee the culinary department in a professional dining setting. The Chef oversees the cafe and catering operations in the building.Please note this role covers a 3- 6 month maternity leave. At the end of this opportunity, our goal is to assist the temporary chef with obtaining a full time salaried role with the organization. However, we are not able to guarantee this. Constellation Culinary Group is a brand underneath the Elior umbrella and we do have lot's of potential opportunities for the future.What you'll be doing:
Supervising the quality standards and practices of the food production process, including purchasing, food specifications, meal preparation, service, and sanitation.
Developing standardized recipes and utilizing other production tools to ensure food quality and cost objectives are met.
Participating in the planning and execution of special events.
What we're looking for:Must-haves:
At least five years of progressive culinary experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft software programs.
Experience with budget statements.
Nice-to-haves:
Associate’s degree in culinary arts.
