A semi-retired businessman and his wife, the Executive Director of a nonprofit organization, are
looking for a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable Executive/Personal Assistant to support
both in their personal and professional lives. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, diplomatic,
and tech-savvy, with a genuine passion for arts and culture. A caring demeanor and positive
attitude are essential for success in this role.
This position involves supporting both individuals with distinct responsibilities but some
overlapping tasks. As such, the Assistant must be able to juggle priorities, anticipate needs, and
provide exceptional service in both personal and professional contexts.
Household & Personal Support:
● Household Logistics: Manage household calendar, bill payments, mail handling,
maintenance appointments, and event planning.
● Errands: Run personal errands such as grocery shopping or dry cleaning.
● Home Organization: Manage digital files, respond to invitations, handle miscellaneous
administrative tasks, and assist with home organization projects.
● Personal Collections & Archival Projects: Assist in organizing personal collections,
including art and other valuable items.
Travel & Event Management:
● Travel Arrangements: Coordinate both personal and business travel arrangements,
including flights, hotels, transportation, and itinerary management.
● Event Planning: Assist with planning and coordinating events, such as parties, and
arts-related activities.
Professional & Administrative Support:
● Business Documents: Provide support with documents concerning business matters,
including filing, organizing, and handling correspondence.
● General Correspondence: Manage and respond to general correspondence, emails, and
phone inquiries for both individuals.
● Scheduling & Reminders: Manage calendars and schedule appointments for both Victor
and Jeanne, ensuring all commitments are kept on track.
Technology Support:
● Tech Support: Assist with managing devices, networks, and digital platforms, including
troubleshooting and coordinating tech-related needs.
Requirements:
● Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
● Experience: Prior experience as an executive/personal assistant, preferably supporting
multiple individuals or executives.
● Skills:
○ Proficiency with both Mac and Windows platforms.
○ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, social media
platforms, and TV streaming services.
● Personal Traits:
○ A patient and caring character with the ability to maintain calm and focus under
pressure.
○ Flexible and comfortable with a variety of tasks, from administrative support to
event planning and personal assistance.
Compensation:
$25-$30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
