Job SummaryThe Facilities Team Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the general maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment. The Technician performs a wide range of facilities services tasks including non-technical maintenance of plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning facilities and equipment at a level not requiring formal licensure. He/she may be required to perform tasks of other unlicensed trades, such as light equipment operator, carpenter, painter, and dry wall.Position works in Tipton & Duncansville + Altoona as needed. Daylight shift.Duties & Responsibilities
Work as a member of the Facilities Maintenance team to maintain buildings, interior and exterior, under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Manager
Respond to work orders submitted for facilities repair or improvement in a timely manner
Manage projects that may require electrical or mechanical construction or repair
Manage projects that require 3rdparty trades for completion
Develop Scope of Work specifications for 3rdparty projects; monitor and inspect work in progress
Work with Facilities Team to document property, mechanical or electrical systems in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Work with CMMS software program to manage company facilities via the creation, documentation and reporting of Preventative Maintenance activities
Relocate and assemble furniture
Perform carpentry repairs and installations with hand and power tools
Perform snow removal as required
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as required
Demonstrate a "Safety First" approach to all projects and day-to-day activities
Contribute to a positive work environment that supports the New Pig culture
Adhere to New Pig's Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years' experience working with mechanical and electrical systems
Demonstrated experience in the following areas: electrical, HVAC, plumbing
Certified skills in electrical, mechanical a plus
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to achieve Fork Truck truck and Scissor Lift certifications
MS Office - Word, Excel a plus
Willingness to learn new software systems to manage and document facility assets
Willingness to seek out and achieve position related training and/or certifications
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with limited daily supervision

Work location Work is primarily located at ourTipton and Duncansvillefacilities with occasional need at ourAltoonalocations
Work hours Core hours are between7am to 3:30pm. Willingness for overtime required.
