Today, our company continues to be at the forefront of research to deliver innovative health solutions and advance the prevention and treatment of diseases that threaten people and animals around the world.Overview:The Facilities Management Fellowship will be part of a cross functional team that concentrates on maintenance shop floor responsibilities, reliable and compliant operations of research and administration facilities, technology support and operational efficiency projects in support of the West Point, PA Facilities Management team.The West Point Facilities Management team is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the research, site utility and administration buildings on the West Point, PA campus.Your Fellowship ProjectYou will partner with Team Members to drive specific initiatives/projects to completion and function as a fully trained Team Member to ensure day-to-day operational and compliance driven activities are executed to ensure reliable operations of our buildings.Specific initiatives:· Gain experience on the Maintenance shop floor to include maintenance workflows, unionized labor supervision, customer interactions and Integrated Facility Management (IFM) operations· Gain experience supporting and becoming familiar with the research maintenance operations and utility / administrative building operations· Gain experience supporting building assets and operations in accordance with agreed to service levels· Assist with coordinating activities between customers, facility managers and maintenance staff to ensure adequate building utility operations and reliability· Gain experience working in a pharmaceutical regulated environment (environmental, safety and Good Manufacturing Practices)Benefits of Fellowship· Mentoring & networking opportunities within and beyond our facilities management organization· Exposure to facilities management leaders· Hands-on facilities management experience within the pharmaceutical industry· Opportunity to hone leadership, problem solving, team collaboration and tactical execution skillsWork ExperienceExperience/Skills We are Looking for:Possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to examine an issue from diverse perspectives (safety, technical, compliance, equipment, process, and people) to best understand and resolve it at the true root cause
