Pull weeds, chop by hand or using a hoe. Duties may include cleaning, field packing, loading and unloading harvested vegetables. May construct trellises, participate in irrigation activities. Field grade, sort, or classify vegetables by size, weight, color, or condition. Workers will be provided safety training will be expected to handle tools/equipment safely and carefully so as to avoid damage and to protect the worker from potential injury.

Drive and control equipment to support agricultural activities such as tilling soil; planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops; feeding and herding livestock; or removing animal waste. Workers who possess a valid driver's license and meet all applicable legal requirements, including holding a doctor's certificate as required by 29 CFR ยง 500.105, will drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workerson company business. This task is voluntary, compensable, and not a mandatory job duty. Workers without a valid driver's license or doctor's certificate will still be fully eligible for employment and are not disqualified from any other job responsibilities outlined in this application. The employer can and will make alternative arrangements for the transportation of workers should the need arise. Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Farm vehicles are classified as less than 26001 GVWR. Work is to be done for long periods of time in the field, when plants may be wet with dew and rain, and may be required during light rain, snow, moderate winds, direct sun, high humidity and extreme temperatures. Allergies to ragweed, goldenrod, insect spray, related chemicals, etc. may affect workers ability to perform the job. Workers must be able to perform the required work with or without reasonable accommodations. Must wear assigned personal protective equipment when required. Workers will be provided safety training and will be expected to handle tools/equipment safely and carefully so as to avoid crop damage and to protect the worker from potential injury. Must report for work daily wearing appropriate work clothing and boots or other durable foot wear. Casual clothing not permitted. Workers wearing inappropriate clothing will not be permitted to start work. Workers will have an unpaid lunch break when working more than 5 hours. Must report to work at the designated time and place each day. Daily or weekly work schedules may vary due to weather, sunlight, temperature, crop conditions, and other factors. Employer will notify workers of any change to start/end times. Employer may request, but not require that workers work more than the stated daily hours, on the worker's Sabbath, or on federal holidays.

Workers may not report for work under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Possession or use of illegal drugs or alcohol on company worksites or vehicles is prohibited and will be cause for immediate termination. The employer does not conduct background checks but may terminate a worker for cause if a criminal conviction or sex offender status is discovered during employment, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, to ensure the safety of other workers, staff, and the public. he work described herein is regular, seasonal full-time work requiring all workers to be available as stated on the standard work schedule, throughout the entire contract period. Employees may experience a temporary reduction in work and/or a temporary work stoppage due to the natural agricultural cycle.Drig screen, lifting requirement 40 lbs., exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements.
