- Ensuring the accuracy of monthly financial results, including P&L and Balance Sheet
- Managing month-end closing responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, accruals, intercompany billing/settlement, samples vendor reporting/accounting, sales incentives, and customer rebate accruals, and international cashflow management
- Analyzingfinancial and operational results to better understand performance
- Providing root cause analysis for monthly variances, and offering corrective actions and countermeasures to improve financial outcomes
- Partnering with the business leadership team to formulate the channel's medium to long term financial and strategic plan.
- Collaborating with BU leads to develop budgets, estimates, and forecasts
- Developing financial models toproject long term growth and business drivers
- Delivering competitor analysis and market trends to business leadership
- Utilizing data tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, BW, SalesForce.com, OneStream, and Tableau to provide the most efficient and effective analytical insights
- Evaluating existing processes and procedures and developing recommendations
- Managing the preparation and review of business cases for new investment proposals, including customer/channel line reviews, plant asset and product extension investments, new business ventures, and value proposition endeavors
- Adhering to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- 5+ years of experience with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to analyze and forecast revenue, operational costs, and SG&A expenses
- Experience ensuring that processes and procedures are in place and operating effectively for compliance with the Corporate Accounting Policies and Procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Track record of providing operational direction
- Familiarity with linking and analyzing manufacturing metrics to financial performance
- Customer-focused mentality and ability to deliver accurate, quality, and timely results
- CPA and/or MBA in Business, Finance, or Accounting
- Experience utilizing SAP and familiarity with software implementations
