We are eager to welcome a motivated, detail-oriented Fiscal Assistant to the Reimbursement Office. This is advanced clerical-accounting work involving billing and operational duties. You will follow up on rejected and pending claims and be responsible for inputting demographic and financial data into systems, posting adjustments, and preparing reports. This position is also tasked with making requests for determination of Medical Assistance eligibility on behalf of individuals residing at the South Mountain Restoration Center.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time (1) to (2) days per week during the training period and then up to (4) days per week after successful completion of the training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in South Mountain.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of experience performing bookkeeping or clerical accounting work; or

An associate degree in accounting or business administration including or supplemented by six credits in accounting; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.Other Requirements:
