We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer local to the Philadelphia area who will help us build the next generation of Smart Construction applications. Bring your experience in JavaScript, Node.js, AWS, Docker, and PostgreSQL databases and contribute to the development of all aspects of our production web applications; including front-end, back-end, batch processing, and operations. Participate in a collaborative development environment using GitHub, code reviews, and CI/CD.Our client uses data visualization, optimization, and XR (VR/AR/MR) to develop 3D Construction models. As part of the engineering team, you will work across all levels of the stack to develop applications that are pushing the boundaries on what you can do with 3D data

Responsibilities
  • Designing a customer-oriented experience, and implementing user interfaces that allow customers to do what they want to do.
  • Build and ship code. Expect to code every day for most of the day.
  • Work at all levels of the stack to build, document, test, and maintain to build and develop Smart Construction applications and servers.
  • Participate in collaborative development using GitHub, code reviews, and CI/CD
  • Work on challenging problems in a fast-paced continuous learning environment

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Production experience with JavaScript
  • Experience with ES6 and Typescript
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, and relational databases, such as PostgreSQL
  • Team development experience using code versioning tools like GitHub
Preferred:
  • Strong modern JavaScript development skills that are well-versed in at least one tech stack using libraries and tools like LitElement, React, Redux, Node.js, and similar
  • Production experience with JavaScript based single page applications (SPA) and frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
  • Working with Cesium.js
  • Experience with Docker-based development and AWS
  • Experience or interest in DevOps, InfraOps, and CI/CD
  • Experience with big data, or geospatial data
  • Experience working with GIS products
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in computer science or related field.
