Harrisburg office is looking to fill a GIS Analyst position in our growing US Operations. Working as a GIS Analyst, you will participate in Civil, Municipal, and Environmental Engineering projects on activities pertaining to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Data Management.

The successful candidates will perform the following tasks:
  • Preparation and delivery of GIS figures to support internal and client needs
  • Capture, compile, migrate and convert data sets for project needs from a variety of internal and external sources
  • Research, update, and maintain numerous GIS datasets and templates
  • Read engineering CAD drawings and capture features into GIS
  • Evaluate data from various sources to determine the quality and ensure data is clean and accurate
  • Champion GIS Solutions for the local office for both data collection and delivery

Recommended Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geography, or other relevant subject with a minimum of 20 hours (or equivalent of a minor or emphasis in GIS) with 1-5 years relevant experience
  • Self-motivated while working independently
  • Proficiency of ESRI GIS software ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
  • Experience with ESRI data collection tools (Survey123, Field Maps) and development of templates for these applications
  • Experience in data conversion, database management, and GIS digitization and analysis
  • An understanding of the definition, projection, and application of different coordinate systems for both feature datasets and imagery in ArcGIS
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, analytical and time management skills

The following experience is considered an asset:
  • Linear Infrastructures - GIS for sanitary sewer, water distribution, storm water
  • Previous consulting experience
