Galago is an innovative service born out of Ramboll that aims to help reduce the risk of environmental damage and human health. We do this by working with landowners and remedial site operators to help them safeguard and protect their land. We use aerial, drone, and satellite data to map our clients land, and then use geospatial analysis and AI methods to find areas for environmental improvement or change. We give our clients a snapshot-in-time of any immediate issues, and we also help them monitor how their land changes over time, diagnose why it is changing, and whether this is an issue, and recommend what they need to do about it.  More about Galago here: www.ramboll.com/galago  We are a small, fun team made up of commercial and technical experts, and are looking for someone to come in and help us expertly deliver geospatial projects for our clients.  You will join our Environment & Health department As our new GIS and Remote Sensing Technician, you will be part of a team that utilizes critical thinking skills and contributes to creating web mapping applications, report documents, and client-specific deliverables. The successful Technician will be able to work independently, thrive in a team-environment, and be a technical on-site resource for project managers and staff. This position will require onsite presence and direct interaction with the project client. Data management, data collection, data analysis, and spatial calculations are frequent needs. This role also includes opportunities to present your findings directly to clients and project teams. You may also play a role in strategically refining existing GIS applications, and suggesting additional, practical and beneficial uses. Key position requirements are: Experience with GeoSLAM or other mobile LiDAR scanning and post-processing technologies Experience with ESRI mobile, desktop, and web-based GIS applications Work in diverse and multi-user team environments Ability to work on multiple deliverables at the same time, while maintaining organization and efficiency Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to interact with and present to others Travel 10-30% Beneficial additional skills include: Previous experience working in a technology startup or AEC consulting environment  Previous experience working in an industrial setting or remedial constructionScan-to-BIM and digital twin technical skillsets Experience with AutoCAD OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPR Certification Your starting point for constant growth From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company.  Ramboll Environment & Health division Ramboll develops innovative, scientifically sound solutions that help increase livability by reducing pollution and restoring natural environments.
