The virus is highly contagious and affects the lungs and airways. Infections occur in people of all ages and can feel like the common cold for most young adults, but for infants, the immunocompromised, and older adults, it can be potentially life-threatening.Pfizer's RSV vaccine, ABRYSVO, was recently approved in the US, EU, UK and Argentina for the prevention of RSV in older adults and infants via maternal vaccination.Additional global regulatory filings are underway with approvals anticipated worldwide throughout 2024 and beyond. ABRYSVO's Maternal indication is set to deliver over $900M at peak to Pfizer, and importantly will deliver on 6 decades of research to help impact the lives of hundreds of thousands of infants who are at risk of RSV.Reporting into the Global ABRYSVO & Life Cycle Lead, the Global ABRYSVO Director will play a key role in supporting the commercial success of ABRYSVO. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of understanding market dynamics, engaging with a diverse set of stakeholders, thriving in complexity and ambiguity, and partnering strategically with priority markets across IDM and EM as well as Commercial Offices. The candidate should have a proven track record of working in a matrix team environment, with multiple country, commercial, and cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial expertise, vaccine experience, and demonstrate an ability to build and execute strategies and initiatives that maximize brand value.How You Will Achieve It

Drive consistent implementation of ABRYSVO strategy and realization of global efficiencies through strong partnerships with cross-functional team

Partner with markets to drive accelerated access pathways for ABRYSVO in major ex-US markets, working closely with Medical, GAV and Corporate Affairs

Liaise with Global Medical and GAV on National Immunization Program (NIP) roadmap

Work with GAV to formulate commercial strategy (i.e. pricing, contracting, tendering, operational considerations, value-based agreements) that ensures optimal indication sequencing and competitiveness in an increasingly competitive market.

Understand data gaps required to secure optimal recommendations and work with cross-functional team to determine mitigations and scenario plans

Increase advocacy for RSV vaccination in pregnant women in major ex-US markets, securing optimal recommendations and NIP inclusions from vaccine technical committees and increased funding from payers

QualificationsMust-Have

BA/BS degree required.

10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in marketing, strategy and new product launch

Strong commercial leadership experience at country and/or above country/regional level, including collaboration with cross-functional teams (including Medical Affairs, GAV, HEOR, Corporate Affairs, Legal, Regulatory) and Regional/Country colleagues

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across different functions and colleagues/groups and to lead by influence to effectively develop and implement strategies

Experience in brand access marketing, value proposition development, contracting, ex-US pricing strategy, National Immunization Programs (NIPs)

Experience collaborating with and engaging with external stakeholders

Ability to focus in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and support the team through key strategic decisions

Strong analytical and strategic skills including ability to identify and prioritize strategic challenges and balance short term needs with long-term vision

Ability to act quickly and nimbly in response to what is happening in the external marketplace

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide variety of audiences.

Must be mature, self-driven, have exceptional learning agility and a high degree of comfort with ambiguity and complex "white space" environments.
