Hardware Design Engineer

Position: Hardware Design Engineer

• Should have strong basic electronics background.
• Should have in depth knowledge of digital design, transmission lines, CPU and GPU designs, Power electronics areas.
• Experience in High speed board design, Signal integrity and power integrity is must.
• Hands on experience on Intel silicon, DDR, PCIE, SERDES is desired.
• Previous experience in designing GPU or CPU cores and ASICs for Multimedia and Graphics applications in deep sub-micron CMOS processes for volume production
• Experience with Verilog / VHDL design, Synopsys synthesis, static timing analysis, formal verification, low power design, test plan development, coverage-based design verification, and / or design-for-test (DFT).
• Experience with Computer Architecture, Computer Arithmetic, C / C programming languages is desired
• Exposure to DX9 12 level graphics HW development is big plus.
• Should have worked on Power delivery subsystems.
• Hands on experience on cadence concept sch entry tool is desired
• Strong analytical ability, problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Inside this Business Group.

• Designs and develops electronic board design for Super compute platforms.
• Responsible for prototype HW design.
• Responsible for designing the HW as validation vehicle or Reference design for Intel discrete GPU for HPC/Super compute platforms.
• Responsible for collecting the requirements from Internal customers and design a HW to meet Intel platform/silicon validation.
• As part of the process he prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports.
• Ensures products conform to standards and specifications.
• Electrical or Electronics engineer with High speed board design experience to design validation or reference design HW.
