Hardware Test Engineer

Onsite in Downingtown, PA all 5 days per week. Testing is hands on in the lab. Would like them to start 5 days a week, potential for 4 days onsite later on but not guaranteedTechnologies needed to know - hardware (not software), Docsis, CATV, cable modems, set top boxes, wireless routers, optical nodes Spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes, laser transmitters, Team is Physical and Environmental group product qualification - test older products before they are approved into the customer's home testing - mechanical, technical, environmental, EMC

• Performs inspections and sets quality assurance testing models for analysis of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products.
• Requires a bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Works under immediate supervision.
• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

• Hardware testing experience

• Networking and Wi-Fi testing experience
