Head of IT Audit

Job Description Health insurance is an industry that has been around for quite a while and has no plans on going anywhere any time soon. If anything, this industry is actually growing and continuing to remain one of the most profitable places to land! With profitability comes stability. That's exactly with this South New Jersey based company is and they are in need of an internal auditor. The official title of this position is head of IT audit and will sit directly below the Director of IT audit. They are looking for someone with experience within the auditing space, but also someone who has proven leadership experience. This position is relatively straight forward. The ideal candidate will be coming from a healthcare insurance background and have previous experience within internal audits. The need is for day to day tasks revolving around frameworks like NIST, ISO, COSO, COBIT, GDPR and HIPAA. This will include upgrading/updating policies where needed, prepping for annual audits, implementation and reviews. A CISA certification is highly coveted for this position but is not a must have. Required Skills & Experience

• At least 5-7 years' experience in IT controls/frameworks
• 3 years minimum of IT auditing controls/frameworks
• Proven ability to lead a team
• Experience with multiple of the following frameworks: NIST, ISO, COSO, COBIT, GDPR, HIPAA

• CISA certification
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Previous experience in healthcare insurance
• CISSP
• Relevant degrees/bootcamps/coursework/certifications

• 70% IT security audits/upgrades/reviews
• 30% implementation

• There is an annual 6% target bonus while matching up to 8% on 401k contributions
