What you'll be doingYou will join Verizon ICSA Labs HIT ATL as the Health IT Test Lab ManagerYou will oversee all testing-related activities for ICSA Labs pertinent to their healthcare program(s)Key Responsibilities: Manage logistics associated with the healthcare testing program including customer communications, application processing, documentation review, test scheduling and monitoring, and evaluation of test results including opinions or interpretations Coordinate/determine details for test sessions including the criteria tested, the commencement of testing, termination of testing, completion of testing, and assignment of testing analysts Conduct test sessions in the healthcare program(s) Accountable for the oversight of healthcare analysts including: Train and certify analysts in the processes followed in the ICSA Labs healthcare program(s) Monitor analysts to ensure adherence to approved procedures for testing, documentation, and reporting and consistency in testing Support analysts in test result interpretations or opinions, as necessary Manage and implement policy and operational practices that impact the testing program such as tests, pilot tests, complaints, test methodologies and other programmatic materials Manage the safeguards and separation for the protection of confidential, vendor-sensitive, proprietary and applicable information Develop and deliver educational workshops to target audiences on the testing program(s) Support all internal quality audits and management reviews Work with the Management Representative to address and resolve quality issues as appropriateWhat we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar technical discipline or equivalent experience Understanding of health IT standards and interoperability concepts including messaging, ePrescribing, quality, content-related standards as well as vocabularies and code sets Experience working with or for a healthcare organization in one of the following capacities: health information management health information technology Prefer candidates experienced in working with relevant health IT messages, documents and file formats to ensure they are conformant to required specifications, e.g. ePrescribing (NCPDP SCRIPT), lab messaging (HL7), patient summary records (CCR, CCD, CDA, or CCDA), and/or quality measures (NQF, PQRI) Prefer candidates familiar with health IT industry technical profiles and specifications such as IHE profiles (ATNA, XDS, XDR, PIX, PDQ) and NHIN Direct and Content protocols Previous experience working with a health IT vendor, consultancy, or hospital preferred Additional experience with software quality assurance, conformance testing, and interface development desired Previous healthcare product testing experience preferredWhen you join VerizonYou'll be doing work that matters alongside other talented people, transforming the way people, businesses and things connect with each other.
