- Manage data analysis and usage requirements and focused on data- and integration-intensive initiatives
- Primary responsibilities include working with SMEs/translators to understand requirements and develop reports and dashboards using various google platform tools including looker studio and google sheets with data from BigQuery data warehouse
- Manage requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation processes to capture business and end user needs. Prioritize needs within and across projects based on business impact.
- Promote usability standards and design solutions with a high-quality, effortless UX
- Coordinate with data owners to ensure data accessibility and quality
- Contribute to management of central data stores and metadata
- Provide consultative support and advice on technology projects led by business partners
- Identify and aggregate data from internal and external sources
- Guide solution design to meet data and integration requirements
- Envision future use cases for big data and roadmap solutions to fulfill those use cases
- Identify new opportunities to leverage data and to integrate data or applications to enhance business value
- Strong ability to design, build and manage analytics reports and dashboards using data from multiple systems available in a consolidated cloud data warehouse
- Familiarity and experience working with SQL for data analysis from relational and non-relational database systems
- Experience in Healthcare Industry and understanding of financial and clinical data in inpatient acute care or rehabilitation hospital areas is highly desired
- Proficiency in technology management
- Analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic business environment.
- Required to be highly creative and collaborative. An ideal candidate would be expected to collaborate with both the business and IT teams to define the business problem, refine the requirements, and design and develop data deliverables accordingly.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, data management, information systems, information science or a related quantitative field [or equivalent work experience] is required
- The ideal candidate will have a combination of IT skills, analytics skills, and healthcare knowledge
- At least 3 years of work experience in data management disciplines including data analysis, designing operational and business intelligence reports, and executive dashboards
- At least 2 years of experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders in healthcare and hospitals, in support of a departmental and/or multi-departmental data management and analytics initiative.
