Job Title: Helicopter Avionics TechnicianJob DescriptionAvionics Technicians will be working on the A119 (TH-73) commercial helicopters. You will assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components. Your role includes documenting work performed, controlling equipment status tags, logging critical information during installation, verifying parts requests, and reading and interpreting schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and written instructions. You will use a variety of manual hand tools and specialized aircraft test equipment. Effective communication with other employees and members of supervision is essential. The role requires performing duties on all shifts and in various conditions while wearing required safety equipment.Responsibilities

Assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components.

Clearly document work performed, control equipment status tags, and log critical information during installation.

Verify parts requests and read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and written instructions.

Use a variety of manual hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, wire cutters, heat shrink gun, and complex specialized aircraft test equipment.

Effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with other employees, members of supervision, and others as required.

Perform assigned duties on all shifts and under various conditions, including while wearing required safety equipment.

Essential Skills

Avionic troubleshooting and functional testing.

Experience with aircraft avionics, avionics systems, wiring, and wire harness.

Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.

Experience with avionic installation, repair, and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of aircraft electronics, maintenance, and assembly.

Proficiency in soldering and working with coaxial cables.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

HS Diploma or equivalent.

4+ years of Electrical/Avionic aviation production experience preferred. Military experience will be considered.

Knowledge of rotary or fixed-wing aircraft.

General overall knowledge of aviation electrical/avionic components and systems.
