Location: Near Red Lion, Pennsylvania Type of Position: Full-Time High School Role About the role:
Collaborate with all key stakeholders regarding functional communication and life skills.
Support high school students with a variety of communication impairments including fluency disorders, language delays, Autism, and more.
Implement differing service delivery models, including push-in, whole-group, and pull-out therapy.
Completes all job duties within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures.
Determine eligibility of students for speech therapy services and make appropriate dismissal determinations.
Provide and make recommendations for classroom accommodations such as visual aids and augmentative communication.
Provide speech and language therapy for eligible students.
Participates in team meetings for the development of students’ individualized education programs.
Completes relevant paperwork within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures.
Be an active member of the school-based related services team.
Qualifications:
School-based and/or pediatric experience working with K-12th grade children.
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Valid PA SLP license from the Pennsylvania Board of Speech-Language Pathologists.
Valid PA Education Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education
