Job Description

We are looking for a Higher Education Marketing Partnership Manager to join our team to support our journey to increasing global market share across Teaching & Learning sector, leveraging relationships with our third-party partners.

The Advanced Learning marketing department works hand in hand with key third party aggregators, including ProQuest, EBSCO, Redshelf & Vitalsource and many more, who are critical in ensuring our content is widely available and disseminated across the globe within the teaching and learning environment. As the market continues to undergo significant shifts post-pandemic and as digital learning develops, our ambition is to be at the forefront of these dynamic changes using our current relationships with aggregators and to support and develop long-term strategic partnerships/investments.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for planning, managing and supporting the execution of partner marketing plans and will the primary point person in the day-to-day management of existing third partner relationships, ensuring partners are informed and enabled which drive action to support our programmes and revenue streams. They will be responsive and act as the first point of contact with any issues and will seek to find resolution quickly and promptly.

They will be at the heart of ensuring customer success as well as looking at new ideas with partners using customer data insight and listening tools to bring an evidence-based approach to planning and development.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working directly with partners to foster close collaborative relationships for the current business as well as exploring new ideas over the longer term
  • Develop an internal network across stakeholder groups and be at the heart of all discussions with regards to third party relationships in the higher education market
  • Use customer data and insight to assist in making recommendations which allow us to experiment, test and learn
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience with our partners to ensure we support their own success in this changing market

Qualifications

  • History in roles demonstrating success and skill in partnerships (sales or marketing background required)
  • A passion and desire to help transform the learning experience through exceptional online offers and an active interest in the use of technology solutions in education
  • Understanding of the Higher Education market, especially as it relates to teaching and learning
  • The ability to talk about our content/portfolio with partners to help support them in their understanding how we can work progressively together.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel; Proven knowledge of data analysis, data presentation, and reporting
  • Demonstrable experience of working collaboratively across a matrix organization
  • An open, collaborative approach to analysis and solution-finding

  • You must have the right to work and live in United States
  • This role is open to candidate on the East Coast of the US in order to maximize the amount of hours worked with UK colleagues
  • Domestic and international travel to T&F offices may be required
