Hiring Painters for April - October

Capital Blends (capitalblends.com) is looking to hire a select number of preppers and painters as the home improvement season kicks off. Requirements without exception are that you're a nice person, easy to work with, punctual, and dependable. We treat our team members with respect and integrity, which make aforementioned requirements a must.

Skills

Technical

- ability to assemble scaffolding as required

- cover trim, floors, furniture, and other surfaces with tape and drop cloths

- ability to lift and carry 5 gallon paint bucket, ranging 30-60 lbs

- prep surfaces to be painted by sanding, wiping, and washing as necessary

- fill holes and cracks with putty and sand them down until smooth

- remove old finish using scrapers and chemical compounds

- clean equipment, machines, and work areas

- removing and reinstalling fixtures, such as door knobs, as necessary

- follow safeguards, rules, and regulations

Interpersonal

- showing up on time and being ready to work

- encouraged to ask questions if something is unclear

- showing respect towards people who may be different from you

- being mindful of your own safety as well as safety of others onsite

- understanding there's zero tolerance for being under the influence while onsite

- receiving feedback isn't personal and only meant to improve collective output

- respecting company's equipment, materials, and tools to the best of your ability

Compensation

Hourly and Weekly

- $20 to $30 per hour, depending on skill set and experience

Bonus Options

- additional $20 per each workday

- additional $100 per each consecutive workweek

- additional 67 cents per mile driven from home location to work site

Bonus Requirements

- a full workday is defined as at least 8 hours

- a full workweek is defined as 5 consecutive workdays

Payment and Tax Considerations

- all contractor work will be billed via 1099 tax form

- payments will be issued as a Check or using Zelle app
