The Office of Administration is seeking an ambitious Human Resource Assistant 1 to assist with the administration of various human resource functions at Danville State Hospital. DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Human Resource Assistant 1, you will be responsible for a wide-range of human resource duties at Danville State Hospital, which is a 24/7 facility with a salary complement of approximately 360 staff. You will participate in performance management functions such as monitoring the employee performance review (EPR) process to ensure timely completion and accurate filing of reports. You will also manage the scheduling of physical exams, purified protein derivative (PPD) tests, and drug screens as needed as part of the hiring process. This position oversees q uality assurance payments, n urse certification payments, and m edical malpractice liability coverage. Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the human resource office at Danville State Hospital.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of clerical or other comparable experience which involved obtaining, providing, and evaluating information in accordance with established standards; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.

A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
