Our Client, a leading provider of specialized logistics services, is currently seeking candidates for a full-time

Human Resources Administrator role. This individual will be involved in all aspects of HR, with ongoing career growth opportunities and professional development consistently available. This role will have a hybrid work arrangement and a virtual work station will be provided.Responsibilities

Recruitment/Personnel
  • Assist with all aspects of the recruitment process, as needed.
  • Assists with maintaining personnel files for each employee along with documents required for our certifications as well as government requirements (I-9, etc.).
  • Assist with collaborating with IT Department for new employee computer set up, as well as removal/ access/security.

Benefits Administration
  • Assist with working with all brokers and companies for administration of benefits for open enrollment, claim issues, census, etc.
  • Assist with enrolling employees in benefit plans and edit changes as needed. Assist with managing COBRA as needed.
  • Assist with keeping track of employees and what coverages they have, any changes, etc.
  • Assist with coordination and administration of claims with benefit companies (STD, LTD, Life).

Training
  • Assist with developing, implementing and monitoring all areas of training for new employees.
  • Help with preparing training schedules, training materials, and organizing seating/supplies for new hires; prepare training packets and materials for trainers.
  • Keeps training materials and manuals up-to-date.
  • Assist with administration of performance appraisals on new hires.
  • Collects training feedback from new hires at the end of the new-hire training to determine if enhancements can be made to the training program.
  • Assist with maintaining and managing the training materials library.

General HR Administration
  • Assist with monitoring company performance appraisals completion.
  • Assist in maintaining job descriptions for every position in the company.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the Employee Handbook and posters as needed.
  • Helps to manage leaves of absences for Jury Duty, Bereavement, and FMLA.
  • Assist with organizing company functions and special events/projects.
  • Help with administration of Charity functions
  • Participates in Quality & Security Audits.
  • Assist with coordinating tours for Visitor Groups as needed.
  • Assist with coordinating meetings for Executive Team.
  • Other miscellaneous duties/tasks as assigned/required.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources OR an Associate's degree in Business with one or more years of HR experience
  • Excellent computer skills - Windows, MS Office, Internet
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - Able work well with employees at all levels of the organization while being respectful, patient, and empathetic
  • Strong work ethic and time management skills; Must have the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet time-sensitive and important deadlines
