Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring an HR Generalist to contribute to our team in Chambersburg, PA. This role provides broad HR support across all core functions but will place a strong emphasis on recruiting, managing relationships with temporary staffing agencies, onboarding, facilitating new hire orientations, and leading associate roundtables. The HR Generalist will play an active, visible role on the floor, building relationships at all levels while supporting employees throughout their journey with the organization.Want to join a key team that helps the world read?The world is reading, and it is our goal to connect as many people to the content they want in the simplest ways.  If you want to be part of a customer-centric team that strives for excellence, collaboration, innovation, we can’t wait to meet youRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or directly related year for year experience3 years of human resources experience with exposure to generalist responsibilities.Preferred Skills:Experience supporting recruitment efforts, including posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating offersHands-on experience managing relationships with temporary staffing agenciesExperience coordinating onboarding activities and facilitating new hire orientations to ensure a smooth and welcoming transition for new hiresStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and maintain a strong, approachable floor presence to build relationships across all levels of the organization.Key Responsibilities:Administer the functions of the employment lifecycle such as sourcing, staffing, employment administration, onboarding, associate relations, leave administration, benefits administration, and training.Manage the recruitment process to ensure compliance and the availability of talent to meet client group needs.  This may include managing vendor/agency staffing relationships to supply a contingent workforce as needed.Deliver orientation and educate new hires on company policy and procedures.Advise and counsel management and associates on various state and federal regulations, company policies and procedures and HR practices, as they relate to associate issues, performance management, promotion and compensation practices  Provide support to client group on associate relations matters, to include investigations, leveraging strategies toward resolution and providing recommendations for counseling/ employment status.Escalate complex associate relations matters to senior HR leadership as needed to ensure consistency with company practice and policy and mitigate legal risk for the organization.Develop strategies for achieving diversity including development of annual Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) for client group.Administer/Support HR as liaison with the third-party administrator for all Short-Term Disability claims.Maintain associate records for client groups, both paper and electronic (PeopleSoft & Kronos) files; enter status changes in HRIS systems; generate reports as needed.Collaborate with senior HR and management in facilitating activities that drive job satisfaction, engagement and morale.Hiring Salary Range: $67,140k - $84,892k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to:  the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
