Imaging Services Student Tech

Operate imaging equipment to acquire, analyze, reconstruct, and document image data, following protocols supervised by a Radiologist or Technologist.

Perform daily equipment inspections, warm-up procedures, and adhere to Quality Control Program guidelines under Technologist supervision.

Assist Radiologists and Technologists in setting up contrast for procedures; responsible for assisting but not for loading or priming injectors.

Obtain high-quality images while adhering to radiation safety standards and protocols.

Assist in patient positioning and exam performance, excluding holding detectors or patients during radiation procedures.

Manage patient arrivals, exam tracking, scan scripts, and exam scheduling using Radiology Information Systems.

Aid Radiologists and Technologists in conducting modality-specific exams as required.

Maintain proficiency in clinical competencies and equipment skills relevant to assigned duties.

Required:

Must be an active 2nd year student in ARRT, ARDMS, CNMT, or NMCTB approved school.

Preferred:

Student of Imaging Program who are currently in their Senior year

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:Act 31 Mandated Reporter Training within 90 days of hire or transfer

Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal

Act 33 with renewal

Act 34 with renewal

Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
