Industrial Maintenance Technician

 Pay:  $33–$42/hr base pay + year end bonus$6/hr shift differential for hours worked Friday–Sunday (starting at 5:00 AM)$90K–$114K average annual income based on experienceWork Schedules:  2 Schedule Options Available Option 1: Fri–Mon  4:30 AM – 4:30 PM (or 5am-5pm)Option 2: Thurs–Sun 4:30 AM – 4:30 PM (or 5am-5pm)Location: Douglassville, PA (Serving Reading, Pottstown, Phoenixville, Exeter, Birdsboro, Boyertown, Limerick and surrounding areas)Position: Techo-Bloc is seeking its next Industrial Maintenance Technician. Our technicians are highly skilled in industrial maintenance, with strong electrical and mechanical expertise.Duties and Responsibilities:Lead electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on production equipment to minimize downtime.Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace mechanical components such as large motors, gear boxes, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and augers.Troubleshoot using electrical schematics and multimeter/megger to diagnose electrical issuesReads and understands wiring diagrams to trace electrical circuits; IO’s, OL’s, contactors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical componentsMaintain, install, troubleshoot VFDs, programmable sensors, SCADA, HMI, and PLCs.Test malfunctioning machinery, identify parts needed and complete repairs.Repair, install and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans which involves working at heights, climbing ladders and using mobile equipment (cranes, forklift, scissor lift, etc.).Leads troubleshooting and repair on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pressure issues, large cylinders, sensors, proportional valves, solenoids & pumpsTest electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopesDocument and perform all preventative maintenance tasks as required to maintain equipment dependability.Design, cut, shape, and weld custom metal parts, brackets, fixtures, and structural assembliesEnter daily tasks, parts used and time into work order systemPerform other duties as assigned.
