- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience working in an Information Security role, IT Risk, or Cybersecurity Role with at least 3 year of technical management experience is needed for this role.
- Incident Response management and Security risk management experience
- Relevant industry certification such as CISA, CGEIT, CISM, CISSP, or GSEC.
- The candidate should have knowledge of the following tools/platforms: AWS, Azure, O365, Carbon Black, Crowdstrike, Rapid 7, QRadar and/or JSA.
- Employment is contingent upon passing a CJIS background check.
- The candidate should have experience performing risk assessments and knowledge of HIPAA, CJIS, NIST CSF or other regulatory and compliance frameworks.

- Experience in HIPAA, CJIS or other highly regulated environments
- 3-5 Experience in a security role in government and/or large enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of security controls and risks in AWS and Azure Cloud Environments
- Day to day Security activities and team management
- Develop incident response procedures and implementation of security tools by effectively documenting security incidents, recommendations, and resolutions and effective reporting on trends.
- Manage and delegate Information Security projects and initiatives, including application security and vulnerability testing, gap analyses, and cross-team collaboration within OIT.
- Monitor and analyze security event data by responding to, prioritizing, and managing security events and managing security incidents from occurrence to closure, in coordination with internal and external resources.
- Participate in the development of the City's information security program by tracking and reporting on the effectiveness of information security technology, processes, and policies.
- Stay abreast of the latest security trends to maintain the security of the City's information systems and data.
- Manage a team of 5 Information Security Group staff members, providing support in the execution of their work and making sure that goals are executed.

- Experienced Information Security Manager to support the City's current efforts to improve its Cyber Security maturity.
- The Information Security Group is looking for a mid-career IT Security Manager with experience in Risk Management and Incident Response to join the Information Security Group.
- The IT Security Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of 5-7 Information Security Group members.
- The Manager will identify, investigate, and communicate emerging risks to the agency.
- Documenting these incidents and establishing a response protocol to effectively address these threats in the future will be one of the essential functions of this position.
- The IT Security Manager will also be expected to stay abreast of the latest trends in cyber security and work collaboratively with their diverse team to prioritize and delegate new and longstanding security projects.
- The ideal candidate will be someone with a background in Cyber Security that includes previous technical management, experience working in a highly regulated field, an appreciation of diverse workforces, and a passion for civic engagement
