Inventory Clerk

Now hiring for a Purchaser / Inventory Clerk in the Mechanicsburg area!Job Description:Currently Hiring a Purchasing Clerk within our Plant Services Department. The core responsibility involves ordering parts. Additional duties include general inventory control such as updating part locations and quantities in the Asset Essentials system, verifying invoices for incoming goods and services, performing clerical duties, and executing standard data entry and retrieval using Microsoft Office software and AS400 systems. The role also entails data research and report development, internet searches for new vendors and optimal pricing, reporting cost savings to the Plant Service Manager, and timely processing of PO’s and PS’s to Accounts Payable. The position requires a working knowledge of maintenance and equipment data entry and retrieval in the Asset Essentials system.Hard Skills:

Experience with MP2 CMMS, including data entry and report retrieval

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products

Knowledge of the AS400 system

Data research and report development skills

Soft Skills:

Strong time management and organizational skills

Excellent memory and follow-through abilities

Superb oral and written communication skills

Basic mathematics skills

Problem-solving, work planning, and decision-making skills under limited supervision

Willingness to work overtime

Shift:

Monday - Friday (8am-4pm)
