As a member of the Information Systems Department, the IS Operations Support is responsible for assisting in the daily support activities of the IS Operations department.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the distribution and reclaiming of all related hardware for onboarding and off-boarding employees.
  • Daily review of IS ticketing system including incidents and tasks.
  • Effectively communicate status of down systems to the IS Operations Manager and staff.
  • Handle multiple assignments simultaneously and possess very strong customer skills.
  • Maintain accurate accounts of inventory equipment at all times.
  • Check-in for audio and video conference meetings in the local office and remotely.
  • Provide support for any office moves, mergers and acquisitions made by the firm.
  • Setup loaner equipment (projectors and laptops) in conference rooms.
  • Ship and receive equipment from all offices.
  • Perform device troubleshooting and submit warranty claims for firm owned computer equipment.
  • Support mobile device hardware and administration through firm's MDM system.
  • Travel to regional offices to provide on-site IS Support on a scheduled basis.
  • Provide support (telephone, desk side, and walk around) on various applications, including but not limited to MS Office Suite, Windows, Document Management, Outlook, Internet, intranet, and proprietary applications.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of experience and education is preferred.

Experience:
  • Minimum of two years of related experience in an IS Support role required; law firm experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • The Information Technology field requires that some of the job responsibilities be completed during non-business hours. In accordance with industry standards, it is expected that this position be flexible with regards to availability when work must be conducted during non-business hours.

  • Flexibility of schedule with occasional off-hour availability is required.
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • To be on-site in an office, an individual must either be fully vaccinated or test weekly and wear a mask while in the office.
