One of our preferred clients is looking to direct hire a
IT Purchasing and Asset Management Analyst. Daily IT representative to Telco and purchasing vendors. Maintain and continuously review/analyze Telco contracts and business needs for cell phones, tablets, and iPads. Maintain daily records of shipments and invoices to determine what products need to be replenished. Track inventory by maintaining all equipment in the company's preferred IT Inventory System. Calculate a monthly or seasonal demand for materials and place orders to maintain needed inventory counts and use mathematical models to forecast future stock needs.Responsibilities- Analyze current Telco circuit contracts and make recommendations for upgrades and costing improvements.
- Work with System/MDM Administrators to analyze needs and place orders for cell phones, iPads and tablets.
- Purchase computer, network, cell phone equipment, and software for IT Department
- Maintain an inventory of computer hardware/software, network gear, cell phones, consumables, etc. Place orders for parts and other expendables through Corporate Purchasing System as directed by the Customer Support Manager and IT Operations Manager
- Review invoices and purchase orders for accuracy. Analyze and review all telecommunication invoices/documents
- Review monthly managed print billing and work with AP to disperse accurate costs to business units
- Review monthly cellular billing and work with AP to disperse accurate costs to business units
- Maintain files on various product / hardware maintenance agreements
- Maintain inventory of all hardware and software both purchased and deployed at all locations
- Coordinate IT setup for Contract Constructions jobs including ordering of telecommunications resources and scheduling onsite setup with network and customer service teams
- Point of contact for various purchasing and Telco vendors.
- Associate degree in IT, Purchasing, or related field
- One to two years of experience in IT or telecom related procurement
- Experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience with Asset Management software and techniques
