IT Support Technician

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PMLocation: Pen Argyl, PAWe are seeking creative, dynamic candidates for the IT Technician position at our manufacturing site in Pen Argyl, PA.RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide support to all users in the use and application of our computer equipment.Identify, monitor and document troubleshooting activities in the Help Desk system, including all decisions and actions adopted until the final resolutionDevelop and update the inventory of workstations, laptops, printers and all other peripheral equipment in the Help Desk toolInstall, configure, and optimize workstations and laptopsInstall and configure peripheral equipment: printers, network cards, sound cards, hard drives, etcAssist in the drafting of procedures for installation, migration and configurations of new workstations and laptopsTest ‘’patches’’ and ‘’fixes’’ to ensure that the problem is adequately resolved and ensure the follow-up with the userAssist in evaluating and updating all office tools as well as most IT tools usedAssist in the implementation of new technologies and projectsAssist in maintaining the documentation concerning the technical infrastructure in place to dateProvide support outside normal hours if necessaryKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:Excellent customer service and interpersonal skillsGreat ability to listen and analyze research informationGreat problem-solving skillsRigorous, methodical, and detail orientedAction and results orientedExcellent communications skills, written and oralGood documenting skills
