Prequel is seeking qualified candidates for a Level 1 Help Desk position for a client in the greater Pittsburgh area. This is a 6 month contract to hire role and offers a competitive compensation package and a stable long term employment opportunity with growth potential. This role will join an existing help desk team with responsibilities including:Responsibilities- Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner- Document customer interactions- Run diagnostics to resolve customer reported issues- Escalate issues to the next Tier with next level of difficulty- Install, make changes and repair computer hardware and software- Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolvedQualificationsQualifications:- Bachelors Degree- 1+ year of professional experience in a technical support role- Knowledge in providing technical support across Network, Software, Hardware areas- Active Directory Experience- Certifications a Plus- Lives locally in the Pittsburgh area
