Fundamental understanding of wireless networks and RAN technologies
Hands-on working experience in next-generation wireless technologies (LTE, 5G NSA/SA, and Wi-Fi) in lab and production environments
In-depth understanding of the cellular network architecture
Awareness of cellular service provisioning and activation procedures
Work with cloud infrastructure for virtualized and cloud native network functions
Work with commercial and pre-release Android and iOS devices
Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions
Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines
Assess vendor capabilities and test strategies
Upgrade network hardware and software components as required
Basic understanding of SIM profiles and SIM management functions
Awareness of foundational networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, Ethernet, QUIC, MP-TCP)
Explore novel approaches to system integration with existing networking technologies
Work with Engineering teams to define detailed Engineering requirements and system-level design, as well as providing architectural expertise and guidance
Work with cross-functional teams (network, cloud, software, compute) and develop technical activities for customer trials and deployments
