- 3-5 years’ experience running/dressing cables, preferably in a lab/data center environment
- Experience working with Equipment racks. Racking and stacking network equipment up to 50lbs.
- Mechanically sound to be able to work independently on projects.
- Able to work on ladders at a max height of 10’
- Experience with hand tools
- Drill
- Wrenches
- Experience working with Windows/MS Office (Word, Excel required, Visio and PPT a plus)
- Experience configuring devices via terminal (CLI) or though browser
- Able to distinguish different cables and their uses.
- CAT5
- COAX
- USB
- Serial
- Experience with creating and maintaining documentation
- Cable Plant experience (CMTS, DOCSIS, COAX)
- Networking background (Valid CCNA/CCNE, Network +)
- WiFi Troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Air Magnet or handheld tools)
- Linux Experience
- Basic Commands
- Bash Scripting
- Basic MAC OSX Experience
- Experience with Remote Access Configuration
