Piper Companies is looking for a Lead Network Engineer for one of the nation's leading hospitals located in Philadelphia, PA. Responsibilities for the Lead Network Engineer • Leads team that plans, forecasts and implements new network technologies of high complexity • Contributes to the analysis and design for emerging technologies for deployment across the enterprise, including but not limited to layer 2\3 LAN switching, routing technologies. • Works with LAN\WAN hardware including patch panels, Fiber Optics, Cat5e and Cat 6 wiring, DTE and DCE devices. • Provides high-level support and rapid resolution to complex network problems Qualifications for the Lead Network Engineer • 5+ years of experience in data networking and TCP/IP protocols • Experience with managing and leading teams in industry • Experience in design and configuration of large scale IP networks • Experience deploying VoIP services • Experience implementing DSCP based ACL on Cisco platform • Utilizing WAN optimization tools such as Blue Coat, Packeteer, and Infinistream • Certifications in CCNA and CCNP Compensation/Benefits for the Lead Network Engineer • Salary $125,000 • Comprehensive Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTOKeywords: Cisco 7000 , cisco 6500 , cisco 5545 , cisco 4500 , cisco 2900, Cisco ASA 5510 , cisco 5520 , cisco 5545, DHCP servers, wide area networks, local area networks, configuration, TCP/IP, MPLS, QoS, SQL, team network lead, team lead, lead engineer, network engineer leader, IT manager, proxy servers, routing, switching, network installation, network design, network maintenance, benefits, PTO, Holidays
