We are currently seeking a Leadership Development Instructional Design & Development, Manager for our client in the Professional Services domain. Primary Skills: Instructional Designing

Role Description:
The Leadership Development Instructional Design & Development, Manager must have at least 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

- Utilize instructional design, adult learning principles and innovative methods in the conception, design and development of learning assets and large-scale learning projects

- Collaborate with subject matter professionals on course design and development to translate business content into learner-centered experiences

- Apply fundamental research skills to instructional design and development projects

- Review learning experiences against outlined training objectives, company brand standards and CPE requirements

- Review training products to see that they reflect an understanding of the diversity of learners and groups of learners

- Design, and create and oversee the creation of a variety of materials utilizing desktop publishing software including Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. and (Shareable Content Object Reference Model) SCORM compliant authoring tools

- Lead design sessions and interview project sponsors and subject matter professionals to gain detailed insight on learning asset requirements (target audience analysis, content scope and context and case study development)

- Lead and mentor IDD staff (associates and/or senior associates) and vendors (as needed)

- Connect counselees to the people, resources and opportunities to help further their professional development goals.

- Help cultivate a collaborative working environment, bringing team members and their ideas together

Qualifications:

- Bachelor s degree, Master s degree in adult education, learning science, or related discipline inclusive of instructional design a plus

- Minimum five years of recent experience in instructional design and learning asset materials development; preferably from a professional services firm - Minimum two years experience design and development of leadership programs Can we move this to 2nd bullet since familiarity with leadership content is critical.

- Minimum two years experience people management

- Excellent technical proficiency with development tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel; and Adobe Acrobat Pro) to develop slides and training materials.

- Experience with training development tools (Camtasia, Storyline, Captivate)

- Prior knowledge of designing interactive learning interventions and performance support tools and creating detailed storyboards

- Strong client and project management skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders - Strategic thinking skills with the ability to ask the needed big-picture questions that lead to process and team improvement

- Experience with consultation and the assessment of learning needs, proposing, designing, developing, delivering and measuring success of learning solutions Additional Notes:

- Expert technical ability to create and manipulate slides and create vector graphics within MS PowerPoint. - Experience creating engaging trainings with breakout activities for in-person delivery.

- Preferred EST, CT (MT is acceptable but must accommodate EST hours for team and leadership meetings)

Experience with Leadership Development topics like:

- Diversity, Ethics, and Integrity (DEI) - Emotional Quotient (EQ)

- Social Styles and flexing communication styles

- Cultural diversity and biases (including collaborating across countries)

- Managing upward

- Personal branding- in and outside of company
