The role involves acting as the decision-maker during hearings and entails the application of Agency guidelines and protocols. The position necessitates unbiased investigation of facts presented during hearings and making decisions based on those established facts. Proceedings will be recorded in authorized electronic systems and formal documentation. Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Required in office when needed for training and meetings

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:A Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school; or

Five years of legal research and analysis experience including three years at the professional level, and an associate's degree; or

Three years of professional experience in legal research and analysis, and a bachelor's degree; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes two years of professional experience in legal research and analysis.Additional Requirements:

You must possess good interpersonal skills, including active listening, communication, collaboration, and problem solving.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
