The Legal, IP, and Risk Project Manager will play a critical role in the execution and delivery of LIR (Legal / Intellectual Property / Risk) initiatives and projects. The primary focus will be LIR-led initiatives that are large-scale and high impact with moderate to high risk and complexity. The LIR Project Manager will support and/or manage workstreams throughout cross-functional teams that include Legal, IT, Cyber, Product Development, Data Management, HR, and business operations. Manages small and/or large-scale, complex projects that may involve multiple internal and external stakeholders

With direction from Leadership, determine and track against project milestones, while evaluating and actively measuring progress

Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria

Assists with the building, leading, and coaching of multiple project teams throughout project lifecycles

Assesses and resolves high priority project risks as they are encountered

Continually updates relevant business stakeholder of project status and periodically publish project status reports

Contributes relevant subject matter expertise to regularly brief key stakeholders on different aspects of assigned initiatives

Represents LIR in various project governance and inter-departmental forums

Assists with improving consistency through which LIR initiatives are managed and trackedMinimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of project management experience OR 5+ years project management with 2+ years of related experience in LIR Project Management

Demonstrated experience in establishing and delivering complex projects

Experienced in partnering with senior stakeholders to identify and address project issues

Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

Solid planning, organizational, and leadership skills, including the ability to mobilize and motivate teams, set direction and approach, resolve conflict, deliver tough messages with grace, and execute with limited information and ambiguity

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision

Solid influencing and negotiation skills, including the ability to navigate in a highly matrixed organization effectively

Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations, and proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders

Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability
