THE POSITIONAre you an analytical and detail-oriented professional with great communication skills? The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) is seeking a Licensing Analyst to join our Employee Permitting Unit in the Bureau of Licensing. With our team, you will help keep gaming fair and fun by ensuring the appropriate licensure, permitting, registration, or certification of business entities and individuals as required under the Pennsylvania Race Horse Development and Gaming Act and related regulations. Take your talents to the next level with us!DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position you will communicate with applicants to ensure timely receipt of required information, then prepare and issue initial and renewed licenses, permits, registrations, and certifications upon receipt of Board approval. Work includes accepting and processing applications for operators, manufacturers, suppliers, vendors, junket enterprises, key employees, permittees, and registrants and related revenue. You will also prepare correspondence, reports, charts, and other documents as well as provide recommendations in connection with the development and improvement of new and existing data processing systems. Your responsibilities are essential for enhancing the integrity of the licensing process and improving the efficiency of related activities. Advance your career with our team! Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework). In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in a discipline appropriate to the position from an accredited college or university;or

An associate’s degree in a closely related field from an accredited college and two years of additional experience from a government agency or a large business;or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

You must have experience processing or curing applications for employment in a regulatory environment.

You must have experience communicating with the general public, in order to ensure timely receipt of required information.

You must have the ability to update databases to ensure accurate information is being tracked regarding business information.

You must have experience using the Microsoft packages of Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

Employment is contingent upon the completion of a Personal History Questionnaire with a thorough background investigation, including drug screening and the subsequent review and approval by the Board.
