Light Labor / Security

Atlantic Security Specialists Inc. is a Maritime Security Company looking for part-time, as-needed workers for light labor and security positions.

-No experience required. We will train you.

-Looking for people who are determined, communicative, on time, and who have a strong work ethic.

-Transportation to Bristol/Tullytown is required. Please only respond if you are local to this area or have dependable transportation to get here. (We also have semi-regular jobs at ports all along the Delaware River)

-Positions are only available when ships come to port.

-Shifts range from 8 to 12 hours (days and nights available depending on ship and position).

-Perfect for anyone who has another part time job, as well as Veterans, retirees, students, and anyone else who wants to make some extra money on the side.

-No mandatory minimum hours per week. We plan around your schedule. We will call you with available hours and if you can work, great. If not, we move on to the next person and we will contact you when more hours are available.

-Positions include:

Manning a Security booth

Vessel Security (onboard and dockside)

Operating a salt hopper

Loading Dunnage

Detaching crane hooks during unloading

Bracing Rebar

Directing truck traffic

Collecting tickets from truck drivers

Keeping track of incoming and outgoing trucks

-Compensation ranges from $15-$18 per hour, depending on position.

-Must fill out a W-9 (1099) form for payment. You will be considered an independent contractor.

-Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Card) is NOT necessary but is definitely a plus and will make more hours available to you.
