LTE Test Engineer

• Fundamental understanding of the wireless network and RAN technology
• Hands-on working experience with next-generation wireless technology (LTE/5G), 5G NSA/SA, and WiFi technologies in lab and production environments
• In-depth understanding of the cellular network architecture device, network and service provisioning and activation
• Work with cloud infrastructure for virtualized and cloud native network functions
• Work with various commercial and pre-commercial user equipment.
• Experience with testing tools: wireshark, network emulators (Keysight), SIM capture (Comprion)
• Good understanding of all components involved in an end-to-end cellular network.
• Basic understanding of SIM profiles and SIM management functions, for both physical SIMs and eSIMs
• Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their framework.
• Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for project workstreams
• Develop design documents
• Familiarity with technical specifications, and a facility to work with specifications to explore wireless technology and to troubleshoot issues
• Assess vendor capabilities/test strategies.
• Upgrade network hardware and software components as required
• Explore novel approaches to system integration with existing networking technologies.
• Work with Engineering teams to define detailed Engineering requirements and system-level design, as well as providing architectural expertise and guidance
