Take charge of your future and apply today!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Management Technician, you will provide support for the bureau's information technology (IT) functions including inventory and basic installation, as well as providing limited technical training, security/access, and coordination and resolution of hardware and software problems in conjunction with the Bureau of Information Systems. You will have the opportunity to assist with systems design and testing of data and specific systems developed for the department.

Strong organizational skills are essential, as you will be reviewing descriptions, reports, records, and charts and making recommendations regarding staffing needs in order to meet bureau goals and objectives. You will also participate in gathering data for market analysis, developing customer feedback surveys, gathering customer responses and assessments, and compiling and analyzing survey results.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, based upon operational needs. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

This position will have access to Federal Tax Information (FTI) and is subject to the provisions of IRS Publication 1075 (Pub 1075) which requires you to pass an enhanced background check prior to beginning employment.
