This is an exciting opportunity to build an IT infrastructure capability for a rapidly growing mid-sized company. This position will be the first internal position in a growing infrastructure team. This is a great role for an individual who is energized by making things better and growing the company while being willing to roll-up your sleeves and get hands-on.The Manager, IT Infrastructure and Operations will execute the IT Infrastructure and Security strategies and manage the implementation and support of the various components that support these strategies. Reporting to the CIO, this role provides IT services to enterprise offices and remote staff and requires partnership with other IT team members, Corporate and Regional leaders, and key vendors to ensure alignment and ongoing support of enterprise operations. The role is primarily responsible for networking, datacenter, cloud/hosting, desktop/endpoint, mobile, helpdesk, and security.

Primary ResponsibilitiesMonitors enterprise requirements and industry capabilities, executes and maintains the technology direction for infrastructureDirects and oversees the vendors, managed services, consultants, and IT staff, mentors staff and develops teams, and oversees the services that these groups provideProposes, and implements policies, guidelines, procedures and standards for infrastructureExecutes the portfolio of projects and investments to sustain and extend IT’s capabilitiesManages projects to update, extend, and sustain the technical environmentEvolves our security strategy and oversees the cyber threat environment to protect the company’s assetsManages the relationship with various hardware, software, and service vendors that provide enterprise IT capabilitiesDevelops the program to provide ongoing services and support to enterprise offices, job sites, and remote usersEstablishes the program of metrics and measures to gauge the effectiveness of infrastructure servicesDevelops the business cases for infrastructure investments and manages the IT infrastructure budgetWorks closely with other leaders to ensure seamless support of IT priorities

Qualifications5 or more years of management experience with substantial leadership experience in an IT infrastructure or security roleWell versed in IT / Cyber security issues, risks, and industry directionNetworking, Cloud services, and on-premise technology experience and knowledge of leading industry trends5+ years of hands-on management of IT operations, and infrastructure responsibility with broad exposure to system integrations, migrations, upgrades, and maintenance.Demonstrated leadership ability aligning IT solutions to support business needs and strategy3+ years of project management experience with strong project management background executing plans on multiple projects simultaneously.Detailed understanding of infrastructure design practices, infrastructure operations, technology standards, and vulnerability management.Prior experience with infrastructure and operational support in a mid-sized or large, enterprise environment.Experience with and knowledge of Cloud/IaaS solutions, VMWare, Windows, Office365, Active Directory, Network, and Cybersecurity technologies.Experience with Disaster Recovery planning and executionDemonstrated ability to guide team members in troubleshooting, issue resolution, and escalation.Excellent analytical and decision-making skillsKnowledge of Azure public Cloud highly desiredMerger and Acquisition integration experience highly desiredDiverse background in technologies typically found in small to mid-sized acquisition targets such as windows servers, SANs, routers, switches, wireless, VMWare, HyperV, Exchange, PBX, printing, cellular, video conferencing, etc is highly desiredBS / BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
