Company :Allegheny Health NetworkJob Description :GENERAL OVERVIEW:This job functions as administrative liaison between staff, patients, physicians, families, other hospital departments, and outside agencies.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facilitates the patient flow process while ensuring quality patient care in a cost effective manner. (25%)

Assists in human resource activities such as interviews, evaluations, disciplines. (10%)

Directs patient care activities including quality/performance initiatives and proper staff assignments. (25%)

Performs the job duties of the staff RN. (20%)

Establishes, monitors and adheres to annual operating budget. (10%)

Maintains consistent readiness and ensures department compliance for regulatory agencies. (10%)

QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum

Current licensure as an RN

Bachelor of Science in Nursing or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.

2 years medical/surgical nursing experience

5 years critical care nursing experience

Preferred

Certified Radiology Nurse

Radiology experience

Management experience
