Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob DescriptionReview product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems. 3D Model manufacturing sequences using computer simulation software to ensure accurate, cost-effective processes. Assist in customer RFQs. Confer with manufacturing departments to ensure tooling and fixturing is cost-effective and on time to the project schedule. Design fixtures and gauges required for production and inspection. Create and distribute operation drawings. Create manufacturing sequence and enter it into MIS. Direct integration of technical activities and products. Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases. Control expenditures within limitations of project budget.Responsibilities

Essential Skills

Knowledge of Creo software.

Experience with CNC programming.

Manufacturing engineering knowledge.

Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.

Ability to apply mathematical operations to tasks such as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge of Forge NXT forging simulation software is a plus.
