Manufacturing Technician

Job Title: Manufacturing TechnicianPay: $24.56Location: York, PASchedule: 1st shift Training for 4-6 weeks, after training 6AM to 6PM or 6AM to 3PM (Monday to Friday, with occasional rotating weekends)Job DescriptionAs a Manufacturing Technician, you will work in our refractory plant, producing bricks for high heat applications. You will rotate through ten work stations, including forklift operation, loading/unloading, and machine operation.Responsibilities

Operate sit-down forklifts and handle basic data entry.

Lift and move bricks (25-50 pounds) with repetitive motions.

Remove tie-ins from pallets and restack them.

Feed bricks into the oven using a lift vacuum.

Stack bricks on pallets.

Oversee and attend to robots, loading pallets into machines and responding to alarms.

Handle pallets in the Shrinking area, using a heat gun and printing shipping labels.

Essential Skills

Manufacturing environment experience.

Sit-down forklift operation experience.

Basic computer and math skills.

Ability to lift 20-50 pounds and perform repetitive motions.

Strong safety awareness.

Work Environment

Hot, dirty, and physically demanding with repetitive tasks.

Work stations equipped with AC units.

Dress code: long pants and a t-shirt (uniforms provided).
