Deal, let’s go!The role.We are looking for a dynamic Manufacturing Test Team leader that will drive safe and timely completion of production orders and continuous improvement by monitoring output, quality and processes as a shop floor leader.Our Team Leaders support Supervisors with the day-to-day functions including safely implementing the production plan to meet quality standards and delivery times, acting as main contact for problem solving and continuous improvement activities to be implemented on the shop floor and in training and mentoring of associates. This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and will support the Test team.Responsibilities:

Evaluation and support of Factory Acceptance Test Plans for safe testing of products.

Responsible for the continuous monitoring of Electrical Safety compliance, including Lock-out Tag-Out, Test Barriers, and Test Personal Protective Equipment.

Support manufacturing operation to ensure that revenue targets, cost efficiency, and quality requirements are attained, including transparent measurement of these results. Routinely develops effective pre-shift work assignments and concise informative post shift notes. Attend Manufacturing GEMBA Meetings to communicate status, identify problems and barriers, and identify recovery plans.

Lead training, identifying training needs, and development of Test team resources.

Monitor and complete SAP transactions for production work orders.

Document and investigate quality issues prior to Quality Incident Report (QIR) escalation.

Assists with problem solving for Defect per Unit (DPU) findings, driving both short-term and long-term solutions.

Ensures employees have all tools, equipment, and test documentation needed to work productively.

Assure accuracy and availability of manufacturing test procedures to support production test.

Work closely with Test team to ensure a collaborative and positive relationship, while ensuring all associates continually upgrade their skills and performance.

Continual monitoring and auditing of standardized Test processes and documenting deviations for issue resolution to drive improvement and efficiency.

Drive a safe, clean, and orderly work floor by utilizing 5S practices and follow prescribed safety regulations.

Identify and implement digital tools to improve the performance of the manufacturing processes.

Utilize Continuous Improvement Processes and drive implementation of Lean practices within the manufacturing operation.

Participate on improvement project teams to assure timely and high-quality delivery of manufacturing processes required to drive success.

Collaborate with other peer function Team Leaders to assure output of the manufacturing process meets the expectations of our customers.

Establish an effective cross functional network with Engineering, Test Engineering, Quality, Project Management in support of production activities.Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent.

Minimum of (5) Five years of related test experience.

Digital literacy required including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and ability to learn additional software packages, as required.

Proficient use of Medium Voltage power conversion test equipment required.

Ability to communicate responsibilities from engineering drawings, wiring schematics and bills of materials.

Ability to motivate various groups of people to complete a task to schedule, solve a problem, or implement improvements.

Positively supports other shifts and other production areas, de-escalates situations, as appropriate.

Excellent oral/written communication skills and strong organizational/planning skills

Proficient digital literacy: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.

· Understands KPIs for production, current standing on the KPIs, and actions to improve.

Ability to work overtime and flexible hours.

Knowledge and experience in ISO 9001, 14001, & 45001 standards preferred.

Subject Matter Expert (SME) for product lines in area of responsibility preferred.

SAP, and Team Center experience preferred.

Experience in an Engineer to Order environment preferred.

Understanding of Lean principles and practices preferred

The pay range for this position is $34.63 - $44.92.
