Contracted Mason - Needed for immediate hire

4-5 Day workweek

We are seeking experienced masons and stoneworkers to join our growing team. We are primarily interested in skilled subcontractors who value a steady and reliable partnership with consistent workload. Must have valid insurance, reliable transportation, and own tools and equipment.

The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship and detail, works cleanly and efficiently, and communicates well with both clients and team members. Candidates should be comfortable working on brick, block, stone, and concrete projects across residential and light commercial sites.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Review work orders, drawings, or sketches for masonry projects.

Prepare work areas, including excavation, layout, and foundation preparation.

Mix and apply mortar, concrete, or adhesives as needed for project type.

Build and repair structures such as retaining walls, patios, walkways, chimneys, steps, and foundations.

Cut, shape, and dress stone or brick to required dimensions.

Perform repointing, patching, or resurfacing as needed.

Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.

Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and properly protected.

Collaborate with site supervisors or homeowners on progress and design adjustments.

Maintain professional appearance and adherence to safety standards.

Job Requirements Include

Minimum 3 years of professional masonry experience.

Must have reliable transportation.

Must carry valid liability insurance and provide proof upon request.

Must own masonry tools (saws, trowels, levels, etc.).

Ability to read blueprints and project layouts.

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Must complete an acceptable background check.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Expertise in brick, block, stone, and concrete masonry.

Knowledge of mortar mixes, curing times, and structural integrity.

Ability to diagnose and repair cracked or failing masonry work.

Professional communication and client interaction skills.

Strong attention to detail and jobsite cleanliness.

Punctual, dependable, and safety-focused.

Positive attitude and pride in craftsmanship.

Pay: $30–$50/hr (based on experience and project type)

Schedule: 4–5 days/week (Monday–Friday)
