Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Medical Billing Specialist in the private medical industry located in Lancaster, Massachusetts. As a part of our team, your role will involve various aspects of medical billing, including charge entry, payment posting, and resolution of denied claims. You will provide vital support in maintaining the smooth operation of our billing department.Responsibilities: Handle charge entries efficiently and accurately Post payments, ensuring seamless financial processes Resolve denied claims, providing solutions to billing issues Administer customer service by addressing and resolving customer inquiries Monitor and manage billing functions to ensure proper handling of accounts Utilize skills in Appeals and Claim Administration to manage and resolve billing-related disputes Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders, internal and external Ensure all operations adhere to compliance and quality standards Continuously update skills and knowledge to enhance service delivery in the billing process Contribute to team efforts and uphold the values and objectives of the organization. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in appeals and billing functions within the private medical industry. Experience with claim administration and managing related tasks. Strong customer service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with patients and insurance companies. Knowledge of medical billing procedures and regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using medical billing software and related technologies. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex billing issues. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Familiarity with coding and medical terminology. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and process data accurately. Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in the medical billing field through continuous learning and professional development.
