MRO Planner

One of my clients a growing chemical manufacturing organization in the food industry is adding to their a MRO Planner to their team. This contract to hire role is directly responsible for establishing the forecasted material required to support our maintenance schedule. The candidate selected will work closely with the maintenance and operations team to ensure that all material and paperwork are ready and kitted to increase the effectiveness of the maintenance work group.Key Responsibilities:

Create purchase requisitions in SAP for various items needed from maintenance materials to containers and packaging.

Manage contract execution and purchase orders.

Ensure purchase orders are generated timely.

Rectify issues with POs and invoices.

Work on cost savings projects monitoring spend.

Provide reports to manage on current and committed spend.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma in conjunction with 3-5 years relevant leadership experience.

Must have experience within Microsoft tools. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Must have experience within SAP and understand the mechanics of Material Requirements Planning
