Our client has an immediate need for a
NOC Technician, who will be will be responsible for collecting all pertinent information for the trouble ticket and escalating to tier 2 support or an on-call engineer for assistanceRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent technical training from an accredited trade school
- Ability to independently analyze, communicate and resolve problems with the ability to work with little to no supervision
- Experienced verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel
- Experience with basic computer hardware, PC desktop operating systems, and applications
- Experience with analytical, and problem-solving skills and be ability to show initiative and sound judgment
- Experience with Linux/Mac a plus
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation for hardware and software configuration management and tracking
- Providing tier 1 technical support for calls to the call center and support requests submitted online
- Providing customers with periodic updates and serving as the communications liaison between engineers and customers.
